Vikram Jandhyala

Vikram Jandhyala is Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington, and Director of the Applied Computational Engineering Lab at UWEE. He is also founder of Physware, Inc., a venture-funded electronic design automation startup.

The ACE Lab performs research in the areas of fast electromagnetic simulation, scalable field and potential computation for multiphysics applications, power and signal integrity, EMI/EMC, electronic design automation, model generation, variability and statistical modeling, multicore and distributed parallel algorithms, and synthesis and optimization. Applications include system-in-package, system-on-chip, 3D integrated circuits, RF and mixed-signal circuits, integrated antenna subsystems, RFID devices and networks, microfluidic lab-on-chip, integrated photonics, quantum and classical nanodevices and nanosystems, and wireless power and power harvesting systems. The ACE Lab also performs research on scalable algebraic field solvers and equation-free agent-based methods for graph and network applications in sensor, RFID, web, biological and social networks.
